Leads to NFQ Level 5 QQI Award in Tourism with Business (& IAOT Amadeus CRS qualification)
Travel and Tourism is an exciting, dynamic industry that offers a broad range of job opportunities in airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, hotels and the tourism sector.
This course, which has been running for over 25 years, offers internationally recognised industry relevant qualifications taught by an academic staff with relevant and diverse industry experience. Included on this course is practical cabin crew training in a simulated aircraft in conjunction with the Academy of Aviation at Dublin Airport.
Many employers in the travel industry contact the college directly when recruiting staff. Work experience is an integral component of this course. Previous students have obtained work placements across the Travel and Tourism sector.
This course is equally suitable for school leavers and those looking for a career change in this exciting sector.
Entry Requirements
The course is targeted at students who have an interest in the tourism industry. Since places are limited, applicants will be interviewed. Mature students are welcome on this programme.

Course Cost:
In response to the cost-of-living crisis, we are implementing a significant reduction in fees for all domestic (EU, EEA, Stamp 4) students undertaking a PLC course in the upcoming academic year. All charges, excluding a nominal, non-refundable, registration charge of €50, will be waived.
