NFQ Level 5 QQI Award in Multimedia Production (5M2146)
This well-established course provides a broad introduction to multimedia design and development. It is particularly relevant to those who are interested in pursuing a career in web, motion graphics or multi-media industries such as web design, multimedia production, digital video production, graphic design or new media technologies.
This course also examines User Experience (UX) Design. UX Design is a very fast-growing industry. It is the process of researching, developing and improving all aspects of a digital device for the user.
The course also provides valuable foundation skills for further study in areas like computer sciences, multimedia, digital media and audio visual studies.
Entry Requirements
Open to those who have completed the Leaving Certificate or its equivalent. It is targeted at students with a specific interest in this sector who are willing to get involved and participate during the college year. Since places on the course are limited, applicants will be interviewed.
Progression
Students who successfully complete this course may wish to advance to Level 7 and 8 courses at Institutes of Technology and Universities, including:

- BA in Media Production and Digital Arts - TUD (TU982)
- BA in Games Design - TUD (TU984)

Students also have the option to progress to the Level 6 Multimedia course offered in Stillorgan College of Further Education.

Course Cost:
