Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport, running from 2021 to 2027. It has a budget of €26.2 billion for all of Europe, to fund learning mobility and cross-border cooperation projects for ten million Europeans of all ages and all backgrounds.
Stillorgan College has been involved in this programme to send students on work-experience placements abroad over the past few years.
2025 saw 11 students take part in a two week project in Barcelona, as well as 20 other students undertaking 2-week work placements in Malaga, Spain. All placements are fully funded in terms of travel, accommodation and additional expenses.
2025 also saw Stillorgan College becoming an accredited Erasmus+ centre which means that funding is guaranteed for this programme up to the end of 2027. This will allow us to send at least 35 students on placements abroad during the 2025/2026 academic year.
So join us in Stillorgan College this September and you too could be undertaking the same experience as these students from 2023:
