Are you a creative and visual person? Do you want to be part of the dynamic visual world? Have you ever thought you could be an Illustrator, a Graphic Designer, a Fashion Designer, a Book Illustrator, a Digital Designer, a Web Designer, a Product Designer?
This stimulating course allows you to focus on your creativity while developing your drawing and digital skills. You will be encouraged and supported in visual research, image making skills, concept development and the aesthetic realisation of ideas in response to inspiring briefs. By completing this course, you can progress to any art or design degree course or be more equipped for employment in the visual industry.
Entry Requirements
Candidates should be able to demonstrate an interest in Illustration and Design and when called for interview should bring a selection of creative work. This could include drawing, painting, photography, 3D work or any other work that demonstrates your creative ability. More information about requirements is available here.

Students who successfully complete this course may apply through the Higher Education Links Scheme to a range of third-level courses including:

Course Cost:
In response to the cost-of-living crisis, we are implementing a significant reduction in fees for all domestic (EU, EEA, Stamp 4) students undertaking a PLC course in the upcoming academic year. All charges, excluding a nominal, non-refundable, registration charge of €50, will be waived.
