Leads to NFQ Level 6 QQI Award in Digital Media Production (6M20496)
This exciting course in Advance Digital Media Production skills builds on the Media and Multimedia Level 5 Certificates offered in Stillorgan College. Graduates from similar Level 5 awards in other colleges are also welcome to apply. The course will focus on developing skills in areas such as Multimedia Production, Web Authoring, Digital Imaging, 3 Dimensional Computer Graphics, Digital Video Processing, Multimedia Sound and Project Management. Our extensive suite of equipment hardware, highly skilled staff and powerful post-production applications will enable students to pursue a career in the Multimedia and Digital Media industries.
Entry Requirements
It is desirable that applicants have a prior Level 5 qualification in the multimedia or creative media areas or have relevant work experience. Applicants without an existing qualification will be required to demonstrate that they have the required aptitude and skills for this course. Since places are limited applicants will be interviewed.
Progression
One of the main aims of this course is to prepare an extensive portfolio that will help students gain entry level employment in the industry or to progress via the Higher Education Links Scheme to courses such as:

Course Cost:
In response to the cost-of-living crisis, we are implementing a significant reduction in fees for all domestic (EU, EEA, Stamp 4) students undertaking a PLC course in the upcoming academic year. All charges, excluding a nominal, non-refundable, registration charge of €50, will be waived.
