Course Duration One Year Full-time
Leads to NFQ Level 5 QQI Award in Media Production
Providing a broad introduction to the Media, this course will be particularly relevant to those who are interested in pursuing a career in a media-related area such as radio, TV & video production, graphic design and photography.
It will also provide valuable foundation skills for further study in areas like communications, journalism, advertising and audio visual studies.
One of the main aims of the course is to prepare a comprehensive portfolio that will help students in progressing to higher education.
Entry Requirements
This course is open to those who have completed the Leaving Certificate or its equivalent. It is targeted at students with a specific interest in this sector who are willing to get involved and participate during the college year. Since places on the course are limited, applicants will be interviewed.

One of the main aims of the course is to prepare a comprehensive portfolio that will help students to progress via the FETAC Higher Education Links Scheme to courses such as (for example):

Course Cost:
