Leads to NFQ Level 5 QQI Award in Art
This well-established and successful course is designed to enable our students to develop good drawing and design skills and knowledge of a wide range of other media and techniques.
We emphasise the importance of an individual approach to study through a broad range of projects allowing each student to build on personal interests and talents.
One of the main aims of the course is to prepare a comprehensive portfolio that will help students in progressing to higher education.
Stillorgan College enjoys an excellent record in enabling students to achieve entry into the top Art & Design colleges, both in Ireland and the UK.
Entry Requirements
Candidates should be able to demonstrate an interest in Art and when called for interview should bring a selection of creative work. This could include drawing, painting, photography, 3D work or any other work that demonstrates your creative ability. More information about requirements is available here.

Course Cost:
In response to the cost-of-living crisis, we are implementing a significant reduction in fees for all domestic (EU, EEA, Stamp 4) students undertaking a PLC course in the upcoming academic year. All charges, excluding a nominal, non-refundable, registration charge of €50, will be waived.
